WHAT HAPPENED????

I tried redoing an MVC framework from scratch in PHP (replacing this backend) because I wanted to make something futureproof for my webpage.

Except… I kept putting it off for pretty much a whole year. I didn’t plan it out properly and bit more than I could chew and got overwhelmed. And as a result it shutdown the website for virtually a whole year. Why? Cuz I thought I can try taking it all at once. (I couldn't and burned out for a while @_@)

This sucked and it killed my motivation and consequently, my update output to a halt. Additionally, I tried the same thing for SpaceMy Rewrite (SpaceMy Forever, rewritten codebase) but I was unable to prioritize properly. I finally got the bare minimum working though!

What about Flash Gallery??
Don’t worry mysterious guy that emailed me. It’ll come soon and I'll still add your swf's!

So what will I do differently? :/
- Break the project into small, deliverable pieces. (for real this time)
- Set realistic milestones. (The small wins keep it manageable. :P)
- Prioritize the most visible features first. (Rn, it’s Flash Gallery)

What’s next?
- Next up: finish the Flash Gallery and upload it straight to production
- After that, add some more imageboards to my own.
- Continue work on SpaceMy Rework one piece at a time.

Timetable:
- Flash Gallery – target end of January
- Imageboard Updates - target end of February
- SpaceMy Rework - target end of March (in it’s basic form at least)

SURPRISE!

After all these years... we're finally back with a cool & refreshing look. ZOMG!!! ITS SNOWING AGAIN!! O_O
(More like months but that doesn't count.)

Originally, I planned to do this update and get it done by around July. However, as I've been preoccupied with other projects until then.

This year was very rough, updates wise. Things were feeling very slow and sluggish despite me changes to patch up SpaceMy a little more as well as putting my Imageboard on a seemingly endless hiatus.

For the Flash Gallery, it'll come back but in a monthly fashion with some of the user submissions under its own separate gallery. I'll bring back the Imageboard into a working state at New Years.
